Topics to Talk About With Your Crush
Sometimes it can be really hard to find a topic to talk about with your crush. Even when you do find one, there’s no guarantee that it’s going to be any good. It’s possible for topics to fail simply because the two of you don’t have anything in common. Another reason a topic to talk about with your crush could fail is that you both just don’t like talking about the topic. Regardless, of what the problem is, these topics should help to get you going in your next conversation.
What you have been up to
The first is, you want to talk about what you’ve been up to, something that you’ve done lately that is interesting . I know that some guys are like, I haven’t done anything interesting lately. Here’s the thing, it can be simple as a dish that you cooked that you’ve never cooked before. Or something that you’re learning that’s new or something at work that happened that’s interesting that you can explain to the girl. Don’t think it has to be something wild and something super entertaining, it’s something that you’ve been up to and it’s the coolest thing in the world. If you have one of those great, this is your time to share that.
If you don’t have that, that’s okay too. Think about some of the more simple things. What’s something simple that you can at least tell that’s interesting to you? The reason why this works so well is through this concept called Entertainment. Entertainment is the idea of talking about something that’s interesting to you that entertains yourself. Not entertains her but entertains yourself. This is where we dive into this. When you can talk about something that’s interesting to you, when you can talk about something that you enjoy, that you like, that excites you, that energy gets transferred over to the person that you’re talking to. Your excitement gets them to tune in more and gets them a little bit excited and sees how much fun you’re having and gets them to have fun too. It’s oddly magical, but it works.
This idea of entertainment, telling and talking about something or a story that’s happened, anything to do with you. Then on the flip side, you can then say what about you? What’s been interesting in your life in the past couple weeks or what’s been interesting with you?
So again, it’s talking about something that’s happened to you, that’s interesting that you like that something that you did or something that happened to you. And then when you’re done telling that, you ask them the question about them.
What you wish to do
Here’s the next one. You’re going to talk about something that you wish you were doing. Something that you wish you were doing right now, something that you wish or you would be doing this weekend, something you wish to do soon.
Here’s an example. You can say man this weekend it would be so nice to go to the beach and get a couple of cold drinks and relax and be in the sun. Man, that’d be so nice. It doesn’t matter by the way what the weather is. This is something that you wish or something that you want or something you desire, like this fantasy. What’s something that you wish you could be doing right now?
This is a really good time to use this by the way when there’s a lull in conversation.
Naturally sometimes you’re on a date or you’re on the phone and the conversation kind of dips and all of a sudden there’s a silence. Then you can just enter and say, you know what I wish I was doing right now? You know what I wish I could do this weekend? You know what I wish I could do next month?
And then boom, once you say that, you can ask her what about you? What’s something you wish you could be doing this week or next month? And she’ll clearly have an answer. Every girl has an answer. Every person has an answer to this. Everyone has a wish or desire of something they wish they were doing. What kind of experience do they wish that they were doing? You’re gonna have one as well.
Common friends
If you want a more intimate conversation, then you can bring up subjects that will allow you to get close and personal with your crush. One topic to talk about with your crush is common friends. This topic tends to go over very well if you’re used to being around common friends since most people love talking to common friends.
If you don’t know many common friends, then you may want to bring up topics that would be interesting for you. For example, if you’re a gamer, then you could talk about your favorite game or type of game you enjoy playing. If you’re a fan of sports, then you could talk about your favorite athlete or sports team. You could also talk about something you’ve never tried but are interested in. All of these topics are great conversation starters and are great topics to talk about with your crush.
Of course, no matter what topic you choose to talk about with your crush, you should be confident and avoid talking negatively about anyone or anything. Keep your voice calm and your tone light. If you have any doubts about your ability to be comfortable talking to your crush, then you should definitely reconsider the topic. After all, everyone has a little nervousness when they’re talking to someone they’re interested in and you shouldn’t let this stop you from starting a new conversation with a crush that you really care about.
